About the Woodstock Playhouse
As a landmark playhouse site in the pages of American Theatre History, the Woodstock Playhouse today is a Not-for-Profit theatre under the ownership & directorship of the Pan American Dance Foundation, Inc., which also owns and operates the New York Conservatory for the Arts of Hurley, NY. The organization has invested their years of growth to purchase, enclose, revitalize and preserve the Woodstock Playhouse, a treasure of national theatrical history, for the current & future generations.
Among the cast members of the celebrated Woodstock Playhouse Productions' Summer Stock Company, many of the emerging professionals have been and can now be seen in lead & featured roles in theatres & venues across America, as leaders at musical theatre institutions, on National Tours, and on Broadway.
Performances by internationally recognized entertainers at the Woodstock Playhouse are a mainstay of its present day as much as throughout its historic tapestry.
